[They've been on this ship for three years. Emori is starting to come around to the others. For a long time, she would stay in her and John's room, reading. John taught her how to read last year-- Bellamy sometimes would sit in and try to help. Emori appreciated it, but she felt weird about Bellamy and John. They either hated each other or loved each other.
It's the middle of the night. Emori is dreaming that she's floating in space. She's not tied to anything and she can see the GoSci Ring slowly floating away from her. She screams and she's awake now-- sleeping next to John, legs tangled in another. She wears a long sleeve shirt that they found in a crate. It's hems are frayed. Below her waist is just a pair of boyshorts and thick socks (space is cold). She's breathing heavily and she's not aware if John is awake too yet.]

[Emori breaths hard, slowly coming down from the anxiety attack. Very slowly, she'll feel better. John would help, he had a way with her demons. She turned slightly and jumped at him. She wrapped her arms around him tightly and squeezed tears from her eyes.]
I just had a nightmare, go back to sleep. Hold me, though...
[It was getting better here. Everyone was pulling her in, pulling here away from John's sadness. Her nightmare stems from her fear of being disconnected. While wanting to stay close to John. She felt helpless. Could he exist in her life as she grew?]

[ Her hair is everywhere, not confined to the wrap while she sleeps. She buries her face in John's chest. He asks (or tells) her about talking and she moves so her lips can form sentences without being muffled.]
The same dream I always have lately.
[He won't know what it is, but he'll know that it bothers her greatly. Maybe she'll tell him now.]

It's stupid. It's really dumb.
[ She laughs nervously, but closes her eyes in a moment of bliss when he smooths her hair back. Emori never thought she could feel like this with another person. Not for this long. Not this far away.]
I dream that I'm floating away. I feel ... scared. Like I'm losing you.
