Murphy is like sandpaper. Abrasive. Anything it touches, it leaves a surface changed, forever. Murphy may not change your outsides, but his words will leave a long-lasting impression in your head, a vile taste in your mouth, and a desire to never want to him meet again. He makes no attempt to filter his words and lacks the empathy to care about how his words will affect someone else as long as he himself remains verbally unscathed.


Sarcasm and sass are two things that he has become exceptionally fluent in. He has been ready for well-timed witticism ever since he could remember. Murphy is often finding himself riling others up and inciting irritation. However, his smart-ass attitude veils hidden depths. Sarcasm is his means of indirectly expressing aggression toward others and deflecting insecurity about himself. Wrapping his thoughts in a joke protects him from the vulnerability that comes with directly putting his true intentions out in the open. People are only allowed to see a superficial part of who Murphy is and this is how he protects himself. His cold and cynical personality is borne of both self-preservation and experience. Murphy taking the approach of everybody will let you down eventually.


He has an innate desire to bypass rules of social conduct and otherwise. Murphy is anti-authoritarian, simply put. He is always the first one to question the legitimacy of an authoritative figure before taking them seriously or following direct orders. He’ll assess, in different ways, whether or not if they actually know what they are talking about, if they are honest, and if they care about those who already respect their authority. He is relentless in challenging and resisting anything he deems illegitimate whether it be aggressive or passive-aggressively. Sometimes wise, and sometimes not so much.


At the end of the day, Murphy has become a survivor through self-preservation and he'll do whatever it takes so he can live to see another day. If that means screwing people over, that's fine with him.

Tactile telekinesis is much like telekineses, but it only works on the things Murphy touches. It's a field of telekinetic energy that surrounds Murphy's body to which he can use to manipulate the objects that he touches. When used on himself, this field is strong enough to protect him from direct harm and physical damage but repetitive amounts of force can break through the telekinetic field. Murphy's ability is also not as effective against electromagnetic and conductive energy. Other psychics, who are stronger than Murphy, will be able to easily bypass the shield or break it altogether.

By utilizing this telekinetic energy, Murphy is also able to do a number of things such as enhancing his own physical abilities. When he touches objects, Murphy is capable of bending them into any shape that he mentally visualizes. This also includes disassembling and ripping things like machines and other constructions apart fairly easily. With tactile telekinesis, Murphy can also fly by pushing his body effortlessly through the air. By pushing the field outward with force, Murphy can push or throw someone away. He is also able to create a pocket of air within the field around himself, enabling him the capability of breathing in space.

To activate this power, Murphy must do so consciously.

Murphy has the ability to convert psychic energy into tools, objects, weapons and other items, create semi-living constructs and create structures of varying permanence as long as he is conscious. His constructs will go back to their original state the moment he's lost contact or control of them. As of right now, Murphy is very limited on the structures he can make.

Upon mastering this ability he can use it for almost any situation, creating anything he needs. The energy itself glows different shades of purple depending upon its intensity. Psionic weaponry itself has many dangerous effects, including warping the minds of others, igniting pain sensors, destroying physical portions of the brain, and destroying psionic forms or astral projections.
